Lucca Comics&Games 2012

Eccoci con l’immancabile appuntamento del Lucca Comics!

Anche quest anno saremo presenti all’attesissima fiera.

Dal 1° al 4 di novembre i i mercenari di Steampunk Italia si daranno il cambio per riuscire a coprire tutti e quattro i giorni di fiera e riuscire cosi a festeggiare il primo compleanno dell’Associazione assieme a voi tutti!

Proprio per festeggiare al meglio il compleanno vi sarà infatti il Primo Raduno Ufficiale di STeampunk Italia, ovviamente aperto anche a tutti gli steamers che si troveranno in giro per le mura della città!

Per il giorno del raduno vi faremo sapere presto, restate sintonizzati perchè, forse, vi saranno altre sorprese in quel di Lucca!!

A ridosso della pausa estiva , Steampunk Italia vi presenta l’ interessante progetto di una casa distributrice di fumetti indipendenti americana, la Antarctic Press ( AP entertainment). Questa azienda è sul mercato dal 1984 e si occupa di raccogliere e promuovere nuovi disegnatori e sceneggiatori emergenti nel duro mondo del comics.

Perchè ci ha colpito e che cosa centra con lo steampunk?

Before the Summer break , Steampunk Italia will show you an interesting project from an indipendent american comics editor , the  Antarctic Press ( AP entertainment). This home editor is operative since 1984 and work to promote new artists and scriptwriter inside the hard world of comics .

Why does it struck our attentions and what it has to do with Steampunk?

Quello che stiamo per presentarvi è un film anime, del 2004 uscito in Italia un anno dopo, piuttosto interessante per noi Steamers. Il grande mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo, dopo un manga e un Anime fantascientifico (Akira) ha deciso di proporre un anime steampunk: STEAMBOY.

Raduno Steampunk al Lucca Comics 2011Steampunk Meeting at Lucca Comics&Games 2011

 

 

Si è svolto, domenica 30 ottobre, durante la manifestazione Lucca Comics&Games 2011 il raduno Steampunk.

Organizzato sulle pagine del forum steampunk Laboratory of Time, sul quale i fondatori di Steampunk Italia si sono conosciuti, ha unito per qualche ora gli appassionati di questa cultura accorsi all’evento da varie regioni d’Italia.

On the 30th of october 2011 in the middle of Lucca Comics&Games convention, there was a steampunk meeting.

It was organized on the forum pages of “Laboratory of Time” where founding members of Steampunk Italia met and known each others. The steampunk meeting join for some hours people who love steampunk culture from all the Country.

More than 50 presents, the group really impressed people and photographer all around. After the meeting at 2 p.m. on the top of Santa Maria street and some pics from photographers the big group had a catwalk through the city centre.

Unfortunately we cannot talk with other people for more than a “hello” because of the messy place and many many persons around us but we are so happy to met some people we chatted online with and having our own passion. We hope for the next year to see a growing number of people for the steampunk meeting and join them all here, in Steampunk Italia association, for growing our passion for Steampunk Culture and let all Italy know about it. The Big Mogu Fantasy

Il giorno 2 ottobre 2011 SteampunkItalia è stata ospite  della manifestazione di Cosplay “The Big Mogu Fantasy”, organizzata dall’associazione MoguWork di Vercelli. Un ringraziamento e un saluto a tutti i presenti, e un particolare grazie allo staff per la splendida ospitalità!

October the 2nd 2011: SteampunkItalia has been invited as guest to the “Big Mogu Fantasy”, the cospaly convention organized in Vercelli by the local comics association MoguWork. We send steamy thanks to the guys in MoguWork  for their wonderful sopitalyty end to all the people that showed up at the event!
